What this policy covers
This policy applies to paid online marketing audit toolkits, bundles and individual resources purchased for The Lincolnshire Marketer portal. These are digital products accessed through an online account; there is no physical item to return. Portal listings currently use one-off payments, rather than recurring subscriptions.
Separate standalone downloads and products purchased from other providers are not covered by our voluntary portal refund promise. Check the terms shown with those products. Your statutory rights are unaffected.
Our 14-day refund promise
If a portal purchase is not right for you, email us within the 14-day period beginning on the day after your purchase to request a full refund of the amount you paid for that order. You can request this whether or not you have redeemed your access code, opened the resources or tried the tools. You do not need to give a reason.
This voluntary promise applies to both business and consumer customers. We do not deduct a usage charge or administration fee from refunds made under this promise.
How to cancel or request a refund
Email hello@thelincolnshiremarketer.co.uk with a clear statement that you want to cancel your portal order. Please include the email address used at checkout, the product name and your order reference or purchase date so we can find the payment. Do not send your password or full payment-card details.
You can use this wording, but you do not have to: “I would like to cancel my portal purchase and request a refund. Product: [name]. Order reference or purchase date: [details]. Email used at checkout: [email]. Customer name: [name].”
Sending your cancellation request within the 14-day period is enough; you do not need to wait for us to reply before the deadline.
What happens after cancellation
We will refund the amount due to your original payment method, without undue delay and no later than 14 days after receiving a valid cancellation request under our refund promise. Your bank or payment provider may take additional time to display the credit.
Access associated with the refunded purchase will be removed and any unused access code for that purchase will be cancelled. Please save your own notes and business information before requesting cancellation, as you may no longer be able to open the refunded resources. Other purchases that have not been refunded are unaffected.
Missing access codes, incorrect orders or duplicate payments
If your access email has not arrived, check your junk folder and then contact us using the email address above. We can help you locate your order and resolve access problems. If you have been charged twice for the same order, contact us so we can investigate and refund any duplicate payment.
If something is faulty or not as described
Please contact us if a paid resource does not work, you cannot access what you purchased or the product differs from its description. Tell us what happened and, where useful, include an error message or screenshot with any private information removed.
We will investigate and arrange the appropriate remedy. For consumer purchases, digital content must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. This normally means repair or replacement where appropriate; if that is impossible or cannot be done within a reasonable time and without significant inconvenience, you may be entitled to a price reduction, which can be up to a full refund. Any applicable rights relating to services also remain in place.
Our 14-day refund promise does not limit these rights. You can report faults or problems after that period. Business customers should also contact us so we can resolve any failure to provide the product agreed.
Requests after 14 days
After the voluntary refund period, we do not normally offer refunds simply because you have changed your mind or have not used the resources. We may consider exceptional circumstances individually. This does not affect any cancellation period, refund or other remedy you are entitled to by law.
Your legal rights
This policy adds to, and does not replace or restrict, your statutory rights. Consumer rights apply where you buy wholly or mainly for purposes outside your trade, business, craft or profession. Where the law gives you a longer cancellation period or a different remedy, those rights take priority.
