25 awareness dates, seasonal campaigns and Lincolnshire opportunities for April.

2026 marketing calendar

April brings together Easter, environmental campaigns, British food and the start of the main gardening season. The Easter weekend runs from Good Friday on 3rd April to Easter Monday on 6th April, creating an important period for visitor attractions, hospitality, accommodation, retail and family-focused businesses.

Earth Day on 22nd April can support content about practical environmental action, but businesses should be specific about what they are doing. Local examples, measurable changes and honest progress will be more credible than broad sustainability claims.

For Lincolnshire’s farming and food sectors, Great British Beef Week runs from 23rd to 30th April. Farms, butchers, farm shops, pubs and restaurants can introduce producers, explain sourcing decisions, share seasonal recipes or show the journey from farm to plate. The campaign is especially useful for businesses that can demonstrate a genuine connection to British farming.

National Gardening Week begins on 27th April and continues into May. Garden centres, landscapers, growers, country estates, community gardens and rural attractions can use it to share advice, seasonal products and local places to enjoy.
