May 2026 Marketing Dates and Events in Lincolnshire
31 awareness dates, seasonal campaigns and Lincolnshire opportunities for May.
May is a valuable month for Lincolnshire tourism, heritage, horticulture and rural business marketing. Two bank holidays, improving weather and the school half term give people more opportunities to explore the county, visit attractions and spend time in market towns and coastal resorts.
The Lincoln Festival of History takes place from 2nd to 4th May. The city-wide programme offers a strong reason for Lincoln’s hospitality, retail and accommodation businesses to publish visitor information, themed content and complementary offers.
National Hedgerow Week runs from 4th to 10th May. The Tree Council campaign is particularly relevant to the Lincolnshire Wolds, farmers, land managers and environmental groups because hedgerows contribute to biodiversity, landscape character and agricultural heritage. World Bee Day on 20th May offers another opportunity to discuss pollinators and the connection between nature and food production.
The West Lindsey Churches Festival runs across 9th to 17th May, supporting rural tourism and visits to historic churches, villages and local hospitality businesses. Love British Chicken Week from 25th to 31st May is also useful for poultry farms, farm shops, butchers and restaurants, with campaign information available from the National Farmers’ Union.
