December 2026 Marketing Dates for UK Small Businesses
24 awareness dates, seasonal campaigns and Lincolnshire opportunities for December.
December is an important month for Lincolnshire’s independent retailers, makers, hospitality venues, attractions and food producers. Customers are searching for gifts, local experiences, festive events and places to meet, so businesses should make essential information easy to find.
Small Business Saturday UK takes place on 5th December. The campaign encourages people to support small businesses in shops, offices and online. Lincolnshire businesses can use the day to introduce their team, recommend neighbouring independents, collaborate on a local gift guide or explain how spending locally supports the wider community.
World Soil Day also falls on 5th December. The Food and Agriculture Organization uses the date to raise awareness of the importance of soil to agriculture, ecosystems and food security. This gives Lincolnshire’s farmers, growers, advisers and environmental organisations a valuable opportunity to share practical information about soil health.
The Mablethorpe Christmas Market also takes place on 5th December, creating a coastal shopping and visitor opportunity outside the traditional summer season. Check the Mablethorpe events calendar for current details.
Christmas Jumper Day falls on 10th December, followed by Christmas Day on 25th December and Boxing Day on 26th December. Publish final order dates, opening hours, collection information and holiday closures clearly and repeatedly. Thank customers and staff, but avoid allowing every post to become a sales message.
