February 2026 Marketing Dates and Lincolnshire Events
22 awareness dates, seasonal campaigns and Lincolnshire opportunities for February.
February combines community campaigns, education, wellbeing, online safety and the first important school holiday of the year. Valentine’s Day can work well for hospitality, retail, food, accommodation and experience-led businesses, but it is not the only opportunity available.
Children’s Mental Health Week takes place from 9th to 15th February, while Safer Internet Day falls on 10th February. Schools, charities, technology companies and organisations working with families should use these dates carefully, prioritising accurate and useful information rather than purely promotional content.
In Lincoln, Frequency Festival takes place from 19th to 21st February. The festival brings light, interactive installations, digital creativity and immersive experiences into the city during half term. It creates a timely marketing opportunity for Lincoln’s shops, cafés, restaurants, hotels, attractions and creative organisations. Businesses could publish visitor guides, event offers, evening opening information or content that connects their own work with technology, creativity and play.
World Wetlands Day on 2nd February is also relevant to the Fens, The Wash and Lincolnshire’s nature reserves. Wildlife, tourism and environmental organisations can use it to highlight local habitats and responsible ways to enjoy them.
